The Casey Family Foundation offers foster care and other children's services throughout the western United States. Essential
Strategies, Inc. developed the data and function models to support a project implementing a system for keeping track of
the children in the program. The models addressed information about the
children themselves, foster parents, health care, and the monitoring of progress. The project also included developing a
model of the metadata that describes the structure of the data.
